What does it take to be the Happiest Country in the World?
Happiness FactorThe criteria to be 'a happy country' is produced on the happiness and well-being of the country and it's people. In 2016 the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development devoted their time to evaluate each countries well-being and how that country put the peoples needs and wants at the epicenter of their governments efforts. In 2017 the World Happiness Report was developed. | What does it take to be 'the happiest country in the world'? What is the criteria for countries to take that number one spot? I was curious so I delved into the goodness of google and this is what i found. Join me in discovering who is the happiest country in the world and what it takes to be number one. |
World Happiness Report
The report involves 155 countries and there are six key variables in the happiness ranking which are
- per capita gross domestic product
- healthy life expectancy
- freedom
- generosity
- social support and absence of corruption in government or business.
Not so HappyThe main factors for misery in any country were illnesses like mental health and physical health or personal relationships and unemployment. Also corruption within the government of that country semed to be high on the misery list The Key to the HappinessEducation seems to be the key to all things happy. Education or manipulation whatever way you see it gets the people into the leadership places such as government. A government, control a number of the factors of being a 'happy' country. They are deemed leaders of the people and can determine the quality of life for the people living in that country. If there is corruption within the hierarchy of any country can cause dishonesty, poverty, no freedom and much more devastation lending a lower happiness ranking. |

Where to start?
Do you like make-up but have no clue on how to apply it? Or where it goes on your face and what it is used for?
Make up is no easy task to follow.
But like they say 'practice makes perfect' and you have to begin somewhere.
I don't wear make-up so I thought this post would be a good way to educate and apply as I go along. The older i get, the more desperate i need to wear it!
Its great to start with a cleansed and moisturised face so the make-up won't look dry and settle into wrinkles if you have skin like me....

Its great to start with a cleansed and moisturised face so the make-up won't look dry and settle into wrinkles if you have skin like me....
Let's start!
Primer
Primer goes over your entire face. It prepares the skin for foundation. It covers fine lines and smooths out the pores to make your make-up last all day.
Foundation
Foundation is used to create a smooth and flawless canvas. Its best to choose a foundation that is the same colour as your skin tone. Test a few colours on your jawline toward your neck and see which one blends in well with your skin colour, this is the ideal colour for you. Dot foundation sparingly over the face.
Concealer
Concealer is used to cover under eye circles but can be used to cover blemishes and age spots. Put concealer under your eyes and on any dark coloured flaws and blemishes.
Setting Powder
Setting powder is used to set your foundation so it will last all day. Put it all over your face with a brush.
Bronzer
Bronze is used to contour the face. It should be two shades darker than your skin. Apply at the top of your forehead, below the cheekbones and along the jawline. It should give you a sun-kissed look.
Blusher
Blusher is used to enhance the cheekbones and add colour. Pick a colour that enhances your skin tone. Use a blusher brush to sweep the softer part of the cheeks when you smile.
Highlighter
Highlighter is used to make your skin glow. Apply on top of the cheekbones, tear ducts, under the eyebrow, down the middle of the nose and on the cupids bow (above the top lip).
Brows
Brow colour is used to fill in your eyebrows. Your could use a pencil, a brow promenade or a eye shadowy type. Pick a colour that is a touch lighter than your eyebrows and use feathery strokes to fill these in.
Eye Shadow
Eye shadow is used to colour your eyelids and under the eyebrows. Apply with a brush or your finger. As you get better with applying eye shadow, you can try different variations.
Mascara
Mascara is used to enhance your eyelashes. Use the brush and glide along your eyelashes.
Lipstick or Lipgloss
Lipstick is used to put colour on your lips. Apply with a brush, a pencil or a lipstick. As you advance on make-up application, you can have fun trying different things.
So that's my uptake on a beginners guide to make-up. Of course this is for a natural look, nothing extravagant but easy to understand. I hope you have enjoyed tagging along on this small journey.

I wanted to start a blog because of our one income family with one child living by monthly pay check to pay check.
I was hoping for an overnight sensation, making me $100 (hey! I'm not greedy or have any high expectations) haaaaa! I would be lucky to make a $1 on the first month let alone a $100, who was I kidding?
I found that there was a significant amount of time, knowledge, design and marketing that goes into blogging and this is before you push 'publish'. Lucky for the 'how to' blog tutorials and the 'blogging for dummies' websites (and believe me there are magnitude of them) I managed to fumble my way to here.
Boy, looking back, I still had a long way to go and still do.
I don't even have a niche as of yet, I'm waiting for it to all come to me, so called winging it! Good luck with that one hahaha!
Most of the tutorials and fellow bloggers certainly recommend that you have a niche, I say (and hope) it will come. So I continue to write random posts and hope to find that perfect niche. Whilst writing this I had only googled a "business plan" and still wondered if this was "my purpose" Yet I cant stop writing.
To be continued x
